Project Overview & Architecture

Genius AI is a comprehensive SaaS platform that provides users with a suite of AI-powered content generation tools. The platform offers multiple creative capabilities including image generation, video creation, music composition, code generation, and conversational AI, all accessible through a unified interface. I built the application using Next.js and TypeScript for the frontend, creating a responsive and intuitive user experience with Tailwind CSS and shadcn UI components. The backend was developed with Node.js and Express.js to handle API requests and manage user subscriptions. I integrated OpenAI's APIs for text and code generation capabilities and Replicate for image and video generation. User authentication and session management were implemented using Next-Auth, providing secure access to the platform's features. The application features a freemium model where users can try the platform with limited generations before subscribing to a paid plan for unlimited access. Key features include a dashboard that provides quick access to all generation tools, dedicated interfaces for each content type (conversation, image, video, music, and code), user authentication and profile management, subscription handling with usage tracking, and responsive design for seamless use across devices.
